In the mid-1980's I had watched my mother acquire more than 13 homes and am very familiar with the various personality types of a real estate agent. However, even though I was relativelyexposed to the execution of residential transactions, immense anxiety and fear overwhelmed me. Judy Orsini was pivotal in the execution of this transaction and if not for her, I would not have gone through with my purchase. The following are highlights of what I believe differentiate Judy from other real estate agents: Understanding of the local maraket as well as her client - Most agents know their local market but Judy was very effective in our preliiminary talks regarding what type of home I was looking for. She was able to gage my (i) desire for a certain architectural style and (ii) lack of patience so effectively that only a few days thereafter did we go out and look at the market. We visited four homes and I put an offer on one of them that very same day and most importantly, we won the deal as there were multiple offers placed on the home. Ability to "hand hold" her clients - Judy patiently walked me through the process until I had the full understanding I needed to execute the transaction. She carefully and thoughtfully explained the risks and benefits of buying a home given the market, which has luckily appreciated by greater than 40% since then. Pulling the trigger was a tough decision as I wanted to place most of my money in the stock market, but because of Judy, I was able to intelligently decide that diversifying into real estate would benefit my financial portfolio. Her "people soft" skills come naturally. As I am approaching my twenty-eighth birthday, many of my friends are purchasing or have recently purchased their first home. Some had had decent experiences but others wish they would have gone with my referral of Judy Orsini rather than the referral they chose.
